  7. PCDESK is a "Shareware Program" and is provided at no charge to the user
  8. for evaluation. Feel free to share it with your friends or associates, but
  9. please do not give it away altered or as part of other software. The essence
  10. of "user-supported" software is to provide personal computer users with
  11. quality software at reasonable prices, and yet to provide incentive for pro-
  12. grammers to continue to develop new products. If you find the program useful,
  13. and find that you are continuing to use PCDESK after a reasonable trial
  14. period, you must make a registration payment to the author. The registration
  15. fee will license ONE COPY for use on any ONE COMPUTER at any ONE TIME.

  19. Anyone distributing PCDESK for any kind of remuneration must first contact
  20. Robert Lindsay Wells at the address above for authorization. This author-
  21. ization will be automatically granted to distributors recognized by the
  22. Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines
  23. for shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin offering PCDESK
  24. immediately. However, Robert Lindsay Wells must be advised so that the
  25. distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest version of PCDESK.

  52. When a new release of PCDESK is issued, the files are archived for BBS and
  53. FTP distribution using the PKZIP format, and with archive filenames of the
  54. form PCDESK56.ZIP (where the 56 represents the current version of PCDESK).

  56. each shareware release of the program:
